Prof. Krish Jayachandran currently is Co-Director, Agroecology Program, from Earth and Environment Department, Florida International University. His research interests are nutrient cycling and soil quality in wetland and upland system, bioremediation of organic contaminants in soil and water, arbuscular-mycorrhizal (AM) fungi agricultural application. Prof. Krish got his doctor degree in Soil Microbiology, from Kansas State University, USA at 1991. Master and Bachelor degree were obtained at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, India, at 1983 and 1981. In the past 5 years, Porf. Krish had published 75 papers. Prof. Krish gained 55 grants, around 19 Million dollars in the recent 5 years. 40 graduate students had graduated under his supervisement. His researches and significant outcomes afford constructive improvements for wetland and upland system.
